District Spotlight: Share the Hope 2009 / 2010

Broken Bow members recently celebrated with Sarah Chapin as she made her commitment to the Lord in baptism on Sabbath, August 22. Sarah grew up going to the Broken Bow Church, was a member of Pathfinders and made her decision for the Adventist message after attending Revelation Now meetings in February. Sarah is the third individual to make their decision for Christ after attending the meetings conducted by Pastor Miller earlier this year. We are glad for her decision to follow the Lamb until He comes! Here is a picture of the joyful baptism that Sabbath afternoon:

 

Holdrege members continue to prepare for meetings this month (October). So far they are very close to completing their list of 100 names that they will invite to the meetings. The meetings will be conducted by Pastor Miller and will begin on Friday, October 16 @7pm. Simply His will be providing a mini-concert opening night and later in the meetings there will be another concert by Lisa Marie Buster to help bring a close to the meetings (she will sing a full concert on Friday, November 13 @ 7pm). The meetings will conclude with a finale vespers service on November 14 @7pm.  Your prayers are solicited for this endeavor that God will be glorified and many people will be brought closer to Him. 

 

Kearney members are planning a series of meetings for February, 2010. Leading up to these meetings will be several entry events & socials, a Living Free Seminar and 8 weeks of Desert Rain prep (like Holdrege has already done). The meetings have a target start date of February 19 and will conclude March 20. Please pray for these meetings as they draw near.

 

ShareHim in 2010: Lay-led meetings are scheduled at Holdrege beginning Friday, March 12 @ 7pm. Echoes of Mercy will provide a mini-concert and the meetings will continue through April 10. Once again, let us unite in prayer for this full-message series and may God be glorified as we endeavor to Share the Hope in 2009 / 2010!
